FabLab Madrid CEU will present the paper entitled “AUGMENTED REALITY AND DIGITAL FABRICATION TECHNOLOGIES AS ASSISTIVE TOOLS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES” at INTED 2019 (13th annual International Technology, Education and Development Conference) that will be held in Valencia, from 11th to 13th of March, 2019.
The paper describes a case study that shows the impact of the combination of augmented reality and digital fabrication technologies, as assistive tools for university students with disabilities. It will show the benefits of the NEWTON Project platform to encourage new pedagogical approaches allowing the inclusion of students with disabilities at the university level.
