FabLab Madrid CEU presents at IDC 2017 Conference

FabLab Madrid CEU has presented a paper entitled “Digital Fabrication as a Tool for Teaching High-School Students STEM at the University” in IDC 2017 (16 th Interaction Design & Children Conference) celebrated in Stanford University.

Interaction Design and Children is an interdisciplinary international community focusing on the promises and challenges of leveraging technology so as to enable children to participate in nurturing and empowering experiences and bring children’s voice and sentiments into this process.

During the conference Fab Lab Madrid CEU has presented an ongoing educational program designed to teach High-School students STEM through digital fabrication technologies that is focused on the use of technology as a building material in a ‘learning by doing’ approach emphasizing the importance of learning to learn to keep learning and the benefits of enjoying while learning.
