NEWTON Scenarios for Virtual Labs working group in Dublin City University

December 1st 2016 – NEWTON partners gathered in Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, to discuss the current NEWTON status, architecture and proposed scenarios for virtual laboratories. Attending were representatives from Dublin City University, Adaptemy, National College of Ireland and NEWTON advisory board. In this meeting, suggested scenarios for virtual labs for Math and Sciences were presented and discussed to establish which of these would be the most suitable for specific curricula and age group, and how to best fit the suggested scenarios to the academic year. Mr David O’Grady, a member of Teacher Body, Belvedere Secondary School, Ireland, offered his valuable comments and expertise for the evaluation of the suggested scenarios, and the discussion helped focus the next stage of the development of the NEWTON virtual laboratories.
